Neuropathy is a problem that can take many forms but ultimately stems from irritation of nerves, most commonly supplying the arms, hands, feet, and legs. While neuropathy can be a complication of more serious issues like diabetes or other visceral disorders, it is often secondary to mechanical dysfunction in the joints in the upper or lower spine, or the extremities (arms, shoulders, wrists, elbows, hips, ankles, etc). Neuropathy can be felt as a burning sensation, a traveling or shooting pain, tingling and numbness, or even weakness in the hands or feet.
