Headaches and migraines often stem from a structural issue that goes
undiagnosed and untreated. The most common treatments are some form
of pharmacotherapy (medications) which attempts to address the problem
at the chemical level, leaving the structural cause unaddressed.
The critical structural issue is found in the relationship between the skull and vertebrae of the upper neck. When upper cervical misalignments form in this region, it causes the head to tilt off center, creating asymmetry in the pull of the muscles and soft tissue of the neck and head. This can send pain to the base of the skull, behind one eye, in a band-like formation around the head, or at the top of the head and can by very debilitating.
